I'm trying to keep my chin up...but I really thought that I would be @ 140 by the end of the week. For some strange reason, even though I did not cheat or went off the diet, I gained a pound (went from 141.6 to 142.6)uggg. I just don't get it. I see people who don't even exercise lose weight not gain. I exercise 4 times a week at the gym. I know its going to be water weight, but my clothes aren't fitting better so I can't even feel good about inches. This is so discouraging. I would understand if I had a beer, or some bread or SOMETHING...but I've stuck to what I should be doing...and here I am...1 pound heavier.

Gosh I sound like such a Wendy Winer. Hate being like that. Anyway, I'm hungry and a little woozy anyway after work while working out so I don't want to restrict my calories even more. Not sure if I should see a nutritionist...or go to GNC or something.

I'll continue with everything, but I just feel crappy...

I really wasn't going to weigh myself today...I was going to wait until Friday or Saturday but I'm a glutton for punishment sometimes and I stepped on the damn thing. Shouldn't have done it. I know its only a pound and just water weight (because I have been very good) but it can still be disheartening. I knew my tummy felt a little "poochy" but did I listen to my inner self? no. sigh.

Had an egg with canadian bacon this morning, skipped snack and then had a piece of baked chicken breast with no skin with a small side salad with a little balsamic dressing. I had a SF jello and I'm saving a SF Jello pudding for snack later. After work its off to the gym and after a little cardio I'm going to attempt the weights again.

I've decided that my little weight gain is due to stress since I found an ARMADILLO (!) hole in front of my house in the landscaping (I can't think of anything else for this "pooch" and I have to come up with something). What does this chick know from armadillos? Nothing I tells ya. My first thought was to some how whack it (hey, I am from Jersey ya know) but I found after doing some research that I have to get someone to trap it. I didn't come to Florida to start trapping animals you know...after dealing with the scorpions at the mercy of my flip flop,(I actually found one in my bathroom once...it was the size of a small Chrysler)this little Jersey girl isn't ready for wildlife. We don't have wildlife in Jersey...it all left for Pennsylvania.

Anyway, Indiana Jones is coming on Saturday to take care of this...hopefully by then both the "pooch" and the armadillo will both be gone.

Hello all!

Haven't weighed myself since Friday. I'm hoping to see 140 by the end of the week so I'm waiting until then. I'm continueing to work out although my muscles are still a little sore. I think I'll try the weights again tomorrow and just to cardio today.

I had an Atkins low carb breakfast bar and a small chef salad for lunch (made with low fat swiss). I did splurge and had two SF Jellos. I didn't feel the need for a morning snack so I skipped that.

Tonight I may have the baked chicken thats in the fridge and some green beans. I haven't cheated at all so I'm hoping this will be a big loss this week.

I did make up a delish dinner last night. I took the Perdue short cuts Southwest chicken and sauted a little of that with some frozen stir fry veggies (this was different color peppers and onions) and then sprinkled Emeril's seasoning on it. I then wrapped it up in a low carb low fat whole wheat wrap and had that with a salad. It was really good and really fast. Works for my schedule and I only have to mess up 1 pan.

Lost a little more from yesterday so I feel great. My bod is a little sore because I started the weight machines. I did some stuff for my arms and some for my thighs that will target more areas. The Stair Master and the treadmill can only do so much..but I've found that I am now doing a more strenuous workout without getting tired. I am now up to an incline of 9 with a walking speed of 3.4 (thats fast for my little legs). After the first 10 minutes I move the incline up to 11 and do the rest of the work out (20 min) in that. I'm not too tired at all and it feels comfortable. I want to mix up the inclines because I don't want my muscles to get to comfy with just one type. I figure if it mix it up a bit my muscles will work a little harder.

Oh well...its a beautiful day here and I'm off to get the car washed. Have a wonderful day everyone...
