I feel great! I ate two salads for lunch today with extra tofu since I had no breakfast. I ate an LA Lite bar this morning, a bar this afternoon, and now I just had a cup of cucumbers sliced up I had soaked in apple cider vinegar. I absolutely love take-off! (That's sarcasm... I hate it, but it has worked well every time I've done it, so I can't take it for granted!) I have met my goal today with LA Weight Loss and my plan is to re-shape my goals the next time I'm at the center. I'm not a straight size 8 and I'd like to be that, maybe wear a size 6 dress. Who knows, I need more info from my doctor about what my body "should" be headed towards as well as more information about maintaining my goal weight.
I'm off to zumba now to celebrate with my exercise family!

I'm starting a two day take-off tomorrow. I WILL be at 140 by Tuesday night!!! Still not quite a size 8, so I believe my official goal, and not just my Fatsecret goal, will be at least 135.

Saturday meant 1/2 a slice of pizza, two mini cookies and a lot of diet tonic water. The carbonation makes me retain water and I should have known better! Since that day I have been trying to work out as I normally do, drink an extra bottle of water per day (which makes 5 instead of 4) and then truly measure all my food. I've taken portions for granted for a while now, and rather than guessing I thought maybe I'd re-learn what 4 oz. of tofu really looks like.
My biggest frustration right now is being so sensitive to salt. It's in dough, in sweets, in bread, in soup, in cheeses, all those things I used to enjoy. I can't even open up a jar of my favorite spaghetti sauce anymore, because the calories and sodium are through the roof! We shall see what the scale says again on Saturday morning, especially since that's when I should get my period... Ugh.

I have officially hit 40 pounds of loss! That was before I had half a slice of veggie de-lite pizza and two mini cookies, with plenty of diet tonic water with limes to wash it down, but still... the celebration is the same! I am only 1.6 pounds away from my goal, and honestly, I'm feeling like I want to keep going instead of stopping there!

My first official plateau of this diet. I know I should be grateful that it's taken me 7 months to reach this obstacle, as opposed to the typical month or two. I feel better than I did a week ago (I was getting really down on myself, ate poorly, all of that) but I definitely have not lost significant weight in at least 10 days. I'm hoping that taking tomorrow off from working out and drinking my crazy water will "cleanse" me a little bit for weigh-in on Saturday. Wish me luck!
