I hope everyone had a Happy Independence Day. It's so sad that a holiday was again marred by gun violence. I like most of us tried to remember and focus on that we were celebrating the birth of the USA. We were blessed to be able to pick and choose what we wanted to eat. I ate under my calorie goal, barely missed my protein goal, and did not meet some activity goals. Lift Day (upper body)

It's always good to be back home. We went to the mountains of Virginia for a week-long getaway. It rained on our way there and a couple more times during the week but it was all good. Everything was very quiet there and we took advantage by sleeping in late as much as we desired. The resort upgraded the gym to fitness club standards. That was nice to enjoy. We also did some walking up and down the hills. The views were magnificent. We cooked most of our own meals. Everything went well and we are grateful. I'm ready to get back into my daily routine.

Yesterday was a lift day. I worked my lower body. I ate under my calorie goal, met my protein goal, and did not meet some activity goals. 802 kcal deficit // BF↓0.1% and is back in range // Sleep Goal met

Yesterday I worked in the yard. My Fitbit was out of service for several hours before I noticed and reset it. I think I did better than the results indicated. I ate under my calorie goal, exceeded my protein goal, and did not meet some activity goals. 791 kcal deficit // BF↓.0.3% // missed Sleep Goal // Lift Day!!! (lower body)
