Having difficulty judging portion sizes. Had to go buy a scale to help me. A little tedious, I know, but I need help with judging weights. I can judge cup sizes better than oz sizes. Cooked the skillet salmon with parmesan potatoes and I think I ate a bigger portion of the salmon yesterday (this is why I bought the scale) but did not feel stuffed. I also ate more of the greens to fill me up. I made some changes to the recipe and think they were acceptable (maybe I'll get some feedback). I brushed olive oil on the salmon, sprinkled it with some garlic powder and pepper then broiled it instead of cooking it in the skillet (I prefer to broil than fry). I still squirted some lemon juice on it. It was so delicious. Definitely a keeper. Hubby and son liked it also.

So easy to get off track, and so difficult to get back on. What a busy two weeks. Where did the time go?? I need to make time to log in each day to record my activities and what I eat. I have found that being accountable to someone makes me really think about what I put into my mouth and is good motivation to get off my butt. A little set back, but that's okay, I'll get there. I just need to do what needs to be done. I find it interesting how it just doesn't take much for the weight to come back on. All it took was a lack of, not so much an indulgence in. I wonder if it's because of the thyroid.

whew! Made it through this last week. Didn't juice much at all or get on the machines at all. Need to get back to it. Walked and hiked a lot though, but will end up sabotaging myself if I'm not diligent. Hoping everyone had a good week

Oh may gosh! Family came to town. Sure am glad we were active. Won't get much exercise tomorrow or Sunday and will have to eat out. We'll see what happens. Won't be able to weigh in Sunday morning so will have to remember to weigh in on Monday. Not looking forward to it. Maybe I can make some juice for both days to start my days off right. Will have to look into it to see if the room will have a fridge. Oh, well. Hoping for the best.

Down a pound and a half, YAY!! Cool site. It helped me to monitor my calorie intake and to see what foods are more calorie dense. I think I still need to watch my simple sugars. I am not sure what my max should be and need to find out. I also need to step it up on the machine and trampoline - mostly for strength and wellness . . . not so much intensity, but amount of time spent on them. I will work to be more diligent as I continue to watch my calorie intake. Hope everyone else lost their pound.
