Had Bob Evan's sunshine skillet for dinner last night at 9pm. It's a weakness, what can I say? They are awesome. I could have avoided it if my family wasn't so thoughtful to have it waiting for me. I appreciate it, but my initial weight loss seems to be slowly fading away. For right now, I'll take comfort in the fact that I am feeling a lot better and have more energy.

I did really well yesterday. Only problem is I don't get to eat dinner until 9pm after I get my kids to bed. I've got to try to fit my dinner in earlier. Getting home from work at 7, my husband already has fed the kids, and I want to get every minute I can with them before their bedtime. So I hold off on eating till after they are in bed. Time to try something new.

I got home from work last night and my boys were eating McDonalds Happy Meals. I was making a salad with some chicken on it, and before I even realized what I was doing I had already eaten at least 10 fries. Seriously, didn't even realize what I was doing. I guess this is where the expression Mindful Eating comes from. Not only that but didn't eat until after 8pm. At least it was healthy is all I can say.

I am losing weight pretty quickly, only because I've had a nasty stomach flu to help me along. So I'm very excited about my weight loss and only hope this weight will stay off now that my stomach flu is pretty much gone. My main goal is to eat well most of the time. I let myself have what I want, only less often and in smaller proportions. Strict diets don't work for me because I end up going crazy and eating worse than ever.
So far, so good!
