Day 2 of Atkins:

Starting to learn to eat slowly. Might have eaten too large a breakfast. I should leave 10 minutes after eating to see if I am really hungry. Ate a snack at 11:30 when I wasn’t really hungry.

Got hungry at 2:00. Ate a Double Quarter Pounder from McD's without the bun or ketchup or onions. Hate eating fake cheese, though.

Cravings around 4:15. No hunger, just desire for carbs, sweets, etc.

No hunger until 5:25. Ate a cheese cube and felt better.

It is now almost 8:30pm and I am not hungry. I haven't eaten near enough today. I'm about 13 carbs short for the day, almost all of my veggie carbs, too. I'm over 100g short for protein. But right now, I'm only feeling a slight urge to eat something and only because I am thinking about it. It's also a bit late in the evening to eat a big meal (or at least big enough to cover my missing carbs and protein.

Is this bad, or is it just my body adjusting?

First day of Atkins today. I'm doing okay with it. Some hunger, but I think that is because I am not eating as much as I used to. However, I am eating until I'm no longer hungry, I just get hungry very quickly. Kind of like the mind is saying, "Where's my bread? Where is my pasta? Where is my chocolate ice cream? WAAAAAAHHHHH! I want Chocolate Ice Cream!!!!!!!!"

Just like that.

I'm a little short on veggie carbs. Have eaten 4 cups of spinach today (I hate lettuce, so spinach is my lettuce substitute) along with 1 cup of broccoli. Might be able to increase my broccoli intake? I've never been a veggie guy, so the whole raw veggie thing is VERY new for me. I've never eaten a "salad" before today (had a spinach, broccoli, and roast beef salad for lunch). I just don't know what I will like and I don't have the money to try a whole bunch of things out. So for now, it's spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and green beans.
