Well after losing well last week, this week doesn't seem to be going all that well. I tend to eat when I'm stressed and I've been really stressed out this past week and I think it is reflecting in my eating habits. I'm going to try to put that behind me and get back on track today not eating junk or anything, it is a new day. I try to stay away from the scale until each Monday AM and then I weigh in but it is so tempting to get on. I am worried that on Monday I am going to have a bad number because even last week I looked at the scale like, is this right? And got on three more times before I finally believed it hah but now I'm worried for this week! I better just behave myself for the next 3 days and get moving. Wish me luck!

I weighed in this AM before work but I didn't have any time to type much of a journal entry because I'm always running late in the AM. I think my favorite thing about the site is the weigh history graph because even though I'm not losing alot of weight at a time, I love seeing it going down, the visual is great. Basically I am just trying to eat healthier, cut out junk food, and get moving more than before, so I find it difficult to answer how well I've been following my plan since I'm not on a specific diet or anything. I just want to control my portions and my snacks and I never pick anything up anymore without reading the nutrition label (and a lot of the time I end up putting it back down, so thats probably the best habit I've developed that I haven't always lived by). I used to be so thin and I just cannot wait to get there again but I'm taking it slow and steady this time because I wasn't always healthy with weight loss in the past.. too much too fast and all the wrong way just ends up making you gain it back and feel worse about yourself than you did before. Been there, done that, learned my lesson. Anyway, at this point I am trying to break it down into 5lbs. at a time because the whole 20lbs. seems so daunting. I actually want to be closer to 120 although I have set my current goal at 130 because I'm going to see how I look and feel and how my clothes fit at that point before I decide to lose anymore since I'm about 5'6, maybe even close to 5'7 and I haven't been 130 in so long that I might look hot there! Hah that'd be nice. Anyway, 5lbs. at a time or else I tend to get overwhelmed. I figure I'll just mark every 5lb. loss with a new CD or item of clothing or even jewellery (my weakness) in order to reward myself to keep going. I wish I could think in 10lb. increments but even that seems so far and I need motivation. Anyway, long journal entry basically about nothing! Blah blah blah! My boyfriend and I are about to head to the grocery store so I better be off for now.

Well I am glad to finally be able to weigh in again! My previous scale was awesome until it just stopped retaining information (it was a weight tracker one to keep your info on it and compare the difference between current weight and last weight, first weight, goal, etc.) and then eventually it just comnpletely died and I would buy new batteries but they would last like 4 days and then die.. it was eating them! So anyway, I bought a new scale yesterday which is where I got this new weight, and I'm not sure if it would be a bit different considering my starting weight was on another scale but as long as the number is lower now, I don't care! I am pretty excited to be under the 150 mark because I used to be over 160, close to 165 even (I didn't put that as my start weight as it was quite some time before I joined the site) and I am feeling good about being under 150 but its just the beginning..
