Well I don't know what happened this morning! I tried to weigh in before work and wrote up a journal entry but it didn't work so here I am again! Finally that .6 is gone! The thing is, this AM I got on the scale and it said 142 but it also said 141.6 the next time I got on but I went with the higher number partly because I want to get rid of the .6 but mostly because I want to be honest with myself and not give myself more credit if it isn't due yet. I didn't lose a pound this week but it was something anyway. The scale is so fickle, I hate water weight making everything different all of the time! Oh well, next time! Slow and steady is going to win me this race and I know I have some extra help now that we bought a treadmill because I am comfortable working out in my own home where I don't feel as comfortable at a gym. Also, it is so nice to get up in the AM and just have to walk to the basement to work out and then be able to walk upstairs and shower right away and be in my own home. It also has its benefits for timing because I get to sleep in for the time that it would take to get ready and get to the gym. As you can tell I am excited about the treadmill haha I've wanted one forever! Anyway, long entry.. goodnight.

I am so excited! I think my boyfriend and I are finally going to go buy a treadmill this weekend! Yay! We've talked and talked about it for way too long and now finally I think we're just going to. The thing is, we don't want to get anything too expensive because I'm trying to save as much money as possible for when I start school in September but I just want something! Its hard to find anything at a decent price that is actually going to last but we'll have a good look at a few. I feel more comfortable to have a treadmill at home instead of going to the gym where there are other people, especially because I love my sleep and it will save time in the AM to already be where I'm going to exercise. Yay! I mean really, there are so many other things we could/should be buying right now (we are painting the outside of our house and building a new deck this summer) but you need fun stuff too and I've really been wanting my own treadmill! Well I'm excited but I better get some sleep cause its almost 1am and I might not wake up tomorrow morning!

If it wasn't for the fact that at one point I was at 148.4 and 147.2, I would think that my scale was broken because for the last three or four weigh ins my weight has ended in a .6 which is really odd! Oh well, any loss is a good one but I'm just sick of seeing it, even .4 or .2 would do!

Well I didn't even bother weighing in last week because I was so grumpy with the 144.6 that I saw for 3 weeks, but today there was a bit of a change. I think I need to start being a bit more strict with my eating now for the weight to go. I guess because I stepped on the scale for the first time in months and I had lost weight without trying at all, I guess I thought maybe that pattern would continue, which of course it wouldn't because thats not how it works. Anyway, stepping on the scale and seeing that I had lost encouraged me to try to lose the rest so I've gotta get on with it already! I'm starting college in the fall and I would like to be slim by then so I can go out and buy some new clothes! I need to concentrate on that as my motivation and constantly remind myself about it.

Well.. what can I say? I knew that I had a bad week, I wasn't expecting anything too exciting from the scale and unfortunately, I was right. I'm trying to look at it like, if I didn't lose at least I stayed the same rather than gain anything. It's a new week and this has motivated me to definately lose something when next Monday comes around! I better!
