Yesterday was quite interesting. I had a get together in the afternoon with some people from work. I drank water and didn't eat. Then hubby and I ran some errands, picked up more food to use in our diet recipes. We were having a get together with some friends that evening and didn't have time to go home and get something to eat. We decided to bring a meat and cheese tray to the get together since usually there are chips, cakes, and fruit, none of which we could partake. We didn't want anyone feeling bad that we couldn't eat. So meat and cheese was our dinner. Didn't get home until almost 1:30 this morning. Latest I've been up in forever! Had a great time though. So my carb intake for the day was 1%! Good thing I had made myself a full breakfast of eggs and bacon in the morning! Today I have to install a new hard drive in my work computer. Figure it will take all weekend to get it set up. Hope I remember to eat!

Well yesterday I thought I was doing great making George Stella's meat lasagna! I thought it was a little dry though and doubled the sauce. The meal had a few more carbs than we usually have for a meal. It still kept me within my goal of 20 - 25 carbs (which I usually struggle to get 20) and raised my blood sugar a little bit, but it raise my husband's blood sugar more than he wanted. boo! We do have some no carb sauce that I can try something similar again, I just wanted to make a home made sauce. Since I hate tomatoes I can't stand to make it from the real thing. Oh well! I have some in the freezer, maybe when we are farther along.

Last night was my oldest grandson's graduation from high school! Now I am officially old! lol. The kids wanted us to take them out for chocolate sundaes afterwards! I told them 1. I can't eat it so no way, and 2. its way too late!

On another note, I haven't lost a pound in three weeks, even though my carbs and calories have been low. I also can't seem to get into ketosis even with adding fat bombs. Cramping still, but not as bad. I seem to be tolerating what I'm eating in spite of my pickiness and my ileostomy. I'm not really missing foods and I'm probably eating more than I have in a long time. I had major surgery twice last year then saw extremely low on potassium, iron, and other stuff and couldn't eat much at all. Now I feel much better.
