I have felt great yesterday and today. I have energy (though I still don't have the strength to do much at a time), my head feels clear. I really feal like I'm contributing at work. I've slept well. My numbers look good. Had my cholesteral and all checked yesterday and blood pressure was good, bloodwork was good, waist to hip ratio was good (even though my BMI is high, weight is too high, and too much fat) and my cholesteral was just above borderline but my good cholesteral was very high. Balances out to being good. And I'm back to what I was the beginning of week 2, so I'm very excited. This being my third week I'm averaging about 2 lbs a week, which is good and steady. I'd like to see higher numbers there but it took me years to put it on! At this rate, if I lost steady, it would take 38 weeks to reach my goal. about 9 months, that would be in time for my birthday! No quick fixes, slow and steady wins the race! Tomorrow we plan on going to our first water aerobics. Also may be doing a two step class at the gym. I'll take it easy, don't want to disappoint myself. Have a good weekend!

Well, other than almost being in a major accident this morning on my way to work, I feel great! Why do people just stop on and entrance ramp? And I mean just after entering it, not at the bottom when they are trying to merge! (I hate when they do that too!) Anyway, I was down a pound today and I've made it through some bad cravings. I can tell a little bit of difference in my stomach area, not as tight as before, but still a ways to go. My face seems thinner to me too, but I always think I look thinner than I am. Is there an opposite of anorexia where you see yourself thinner than you are? lol. Cod for dinner last night was yummy and low in fat and calories! I didn't think it would have carbs, but it was low enough that I'm still under 20. Oh we joined the Y last night. It was a pay the day deal so we got in for like 4 bucks instead of the normal 54 bucks, plus our additional monthly cost of course. Now we just have to go! Hubby wants to do water areobics. I was thinking a senior exercise class even though we aren't old enough for that yet! I'm just thinking of starting slow! Have to do weights. Just have to make ourselves go!

First, I did well this weekend, but I sure craved everything and anything I couldn't have! Went to the movies Mon am and did well without popcorn, but every desert, or potato dish, or and carb filled item, I craved. Plus I put on two pounds. Probably related to water weight from the week before. But talk about discouragement and just wanting to quit! I didn't though, here I am. Course the last couple of days I do feel hungry all the time. I drink lots of water but going to try to drink even more. Plus shake up news with work and with family probably upped the stress levels some. So I keep plugging along.

Yesterday I was sooo tired I had to leave work early and take a nap. Missed lunch and just had a snack before I left. After I picked up my husband, we went to Outback for dinner. I had ceasor salad, prime rib and steamed green beans. Only ate about half the meat and beans. Brought the rest for lunch today. What was hard was when they brought out the bread. Do you get carbs from sniffing cause I sure did a lot of that. I was good, didn't eat any but I really wanted to! Today I had to take my kittens in to be nuertered (sp) and forgot to take my morning pills and forgot my glasses. So work today is real interesting trying to see. I'll probably leave when the kittens are ready. trying to see hurts my head!
