When I was 20 I weighted 125. But I was starving myself. I weighted 135 and thought I was fat so I went down to 125. I ate no breakfast, only ate a tuna sandwich and a granola bar for lunch and ate no meat at dinner, only veggies. I also drank diet 7up. I also worked out 4 hours a night from 6 to 10pm. Then I met my husband and started eating out and not worked out so much. We got married and I now have two teenage boys. When I was pregnent with the first I gained 46 pounds. With the second I gained 18. I have gained 100 pounds. Went from 125 to 225. I have tried just about every diet out there, from weight watchers to diet pills. I have the weight watchers at home kit, but I'm always hungry. One of my doctors told me about the south beach diet and it sounds reasonable. I'm starting monday, april 14th. We are celebrating my youngest son's 16th birthday on Sunday. I'm so tired on being this weight, my clothes not fitting and just not liking myself very much. Any support will be greatly accepted. My husband and boys are kinda small, although my hubby is gaining some now, which I like!!!! He only has a gut. I hope this diet works, I feel it is my last resort.
