Well, as you can see by my weight history, it's been a long time since I've even tried to lose any weight. I previously tried the Atkins diet and had some immediate success. But I found it too be much to restrictive and when I had a moment of weakness, the consequences on the body chemistry that's required to to the diet successfully was too great. I am now trying weight watchers with my wife and so far, I have been very pleased with the choices of food I have. I also enjoy calculating the points, and I have been eating a much healthier diet than I ever did on the Atkins. I may not lose as fast as I did on the Atkins diet, but since I'm in this for the long haul, I believe that this will allow me to stick with it.
