I'm wondering, are you expecting to see results on the scale every single day and believing you have to change something if you don't? As a young female, you are going to see weight fluctuations (from the hormonal cycles of menstruation) that you will have no control over. What you do one day may having nothing to do with what you see on the scale the next. If you are seeing a downward trend then you are doing just fine, even if it's up .5, down .3, up .6, down 1.5.
