Late dinner, but the walk was worth it. Just a gorgeous night and we took our time taking in the calm serenity of what was supposed to be a busy weekend, but there were hardly any people around. One of my favorite things about SoCal is just how many people do stop and watch the sun go down. It happened on my first official day moving back here and it continues to this day. We were a little late to watch from the park, but the street where i took these is one of my favorite places.
Hamstring/calf did better on the walk, but i warmed up slowly, kept the speed down and tried to make sure i was walking correctly. If it gets hot, i may roll back our mileage and take a break to let things heal since i seem to be screwing that up so far. I guess i could also wear a compression sleeve but those are so hot when it’s hot.
Food was fine yesterday, just ate dinner close to 10, so not worrying about it. When i was looking at that fish in the bag, i wasn’t overly excited, but that honestly ended up being one of the best cuts from that fish I’ve had so far. Warming up the pineapple was a super good contrast. Wasn’t feeling rice for whatever reason so skipped it.
Decided i need to keep moving this morning, so away we go. Going to try and swim but working a list first. Was talking with a friend about all the things we used to do during the workday, and I’m going to try and incorporate more boundaries again because it’s gotten ridiculous.
Blob up slightly, muscle good, water really up there. I just need to quit injuring myself. 🙄
Weekend rules. Enjoy the day.
