Well, obviously I'm doing well on my food intake and activity level. I think the reason my weight was 'stuck' was because i was building muscle. People kept saying that i looked as though I had lost more, and i had actually gained or maintained. Then I wore a uniform that had fit well, and it was very loose. That told me i was smaller, not necessarily lighter.

I'm really interested, at this point, in losing fat and gaining muscle, instead of focusing on my actual weight. I just don't know how to do that, or where to start.

Btw, i bought sz 8 jeans yesterday. :-)

Great on the jeans. Woot. There is a prevention website, http://www.prevention.com/health/ I see there magazine at Walmart it is small and by the counters. It always has good tips on being healthy and gives exercises to tone up and trim down. You may check them out. There also loads of websites if you google toning up exercises. The big thing I understand on toning up is not heavy weights, but work up to more reps. Cardio also. Mel
