I think most of what I've lost is water weight, water got shut off here for a while, still no power.

I did finally find a walk-in clinic, open with power, to go to yesterday. So 2 shots in my butt later and a bag of meds and I'm feeling a million times better. Being out clearing fallen trees Wednesday was hell on my allergies and launched me into a terrible sinus infection.

The news here is not covering how bad it really is, in my opinion. Lots of small towns are all but wiped off the map that they haven't talked about. And the reported body count is only of the identified bodies. No telling what the number really is. After driving up to my sisters and seeing the damage first hand in other places, I am so thankful all my family and friends are alive. It is just heartbreaking.

My brother in law's dad died during but not because of the storms. There were people that came to the funeral home last night that lost everything but their lives. Unbelievable. They were able to have his funeral because of a rented generator. And they won't release any of the bodies from the storm until all are identified. 200 are dead just 10 miles from my sisters house, but only 35 have been identified.

I just keep praying.
