“ Hara Hachibun-me ni Isha irazu “
Hara = stomach
Hachibun-me = 80%
Isha = Doctor
Irazu = no need
If you eat moderate (not full of your stomach), you don’t need to see your doctor.
This is very old Japanese saying.
I know, but I like to eat full of stomach. 😝

Thank you everyone! I really love your thoughts. Some people might know “Blue Zones The Science of Living Longer” published by National Geographic. In it, “Okinawan Diet” is introduced. Okinawa is southern island of Japan. The way of living and how you eat in Okinawa is known longevity one of way in the world. Yes, we have same old saying about cow after eating. My father always said “Don’t rush after eat even if your parents under critical condition.” He meant resting after eating is good for your stomach. LOL
