So apparently my body doesn't really like organic whole foods - go figure.... up 2 pounds.

I had made this really good chicken vegetable soup with a really yummy organic bouillon and had some for supper the day before and then lunch again yesterday. Turns out I read the package slightly wrong and instead of being 1050mg per cube they aere 1050mg per 1/2 a cube! So I'm thinking at least a pound might be water retention (hopefully) and I will be drinking lots of water tonight! Also I'm wondering if I might have a problem with the nuts. I've been having unsalted organic cashews and pecans, but maybe my body is still a little bit sensitive to them?

Anyway, now that I know how badly I misjudged the bouillon I'm going to weigh in tomorrow instead and if the weight is still there then I will take the hit.

Considering how disgusting I find most of this food though (the fruits, veggies and nuts are great, but the beans and grain-things - ugh. WTH is quinoa anyway??? Kind of tastes like something that would come out of oatmeal if oatmeal had a digestive system!!) I'm going to go back to weight watchers, incorporating many of these foods into that plan. Best of both worlds maybe?? I've sure been enjoying my soy smoothie for breaky!!

This week proves to me that I really need to do the Ultrametabolism plan for the next few weeks to try and figure out if there are any food allergies or weird reactions. After the illness and lack of any progress I had a terrible week foodwise - KFC twice, tacos from fast food place, mocha from Tim Hortons, lots of crap. And I lost a pound. Not from exercise either, I've done some but not anything that should have counteracted KFC!!!

So right now I'm sitting here drinking a smoothie that tastes like lawn (stupid me didn't get the flavorless kind of supplement powder) and have a pile of something vaguely resembling oatmeal in the fridge, but I'm being positive and hoping that it is worth it!!

Oh, and I was very supportive of Steve when he stuck his foot in his mouth a little this morning, he felt very bad!

Breakfast: Strawberry Kiwi smoothie with soy milk and Whole food supplement (aka: lawn as it tastes like grass and dirt :D)
Snack: Orange and Cashews
Lunch: Quinoa with peaches and cinnamon and soy milk
Snack: Apple with Almond/Cashew butter and unsweetened coconut.
Beverage: Tea YUCK EWWWW GROSS..... ok I'm done.
