One more pound today. I am tracking the low weight of the week. Next week will likely not be the big success story of this week but that is fine. The keynote here is that weight has been consistently going down whether 1/2 pound or 2 1/2 pounds. Of note, I couldn't figure out how to adjust the beginning weight and it should have been 174 pounds so with that in mind I have lost 11 pounds since the middle of May with the 2 day low carb diet and 1 day fasting. Six weeks total.

2 day low carb diet updates: This is the best diet lifestyle plan I have ever been on. I added fasting one day per week and then 2 low carb days with moderate eating but not counting any food calories or carbs the rest of the week. I have most anything I want to eat the last day before fasting. I am consistently losing small amounts. I feel great. I don't care how long it takes to travel down the weight loss. My low carb days don't have to be as low as Atkins to lose with the one day of fasting. I am consuming about 30 - 45 carbs on the low carb days.

2 day low carb following 1 day of fasting and modest normal eating the rest of the week is so easy to follow, almost no countng. I feel better. Although very slowly I am losing weight. I was able to follow this last week with adjusting my days due to a very hectic schedule and not eating what is "good" for me for a couple of days and still lost 1/2 pound.

2 DAY LOW CARB DIET: Please let me know if anyone else is trying the 2 day low carb dieting technique. I also added the 1 day of fasting recommended. The rest of the week you eat reasonably. By golly this is easy to follow and although slow is the first weight loss I have seen in a long time. It is not hard at all and for me can easily become a way of life. In the news recently this type of diet was shown to have a much weight loss as all low carb, equal weight loss to low calorie, and all body blood indicators were fantastic for cardiac as well as anti-cancer properties. The diet research study allowed just under 50 carbs for both the low carb dieters and the 2 day low carb dieters. I rarely eat above 75 carbs even on high carb days and this week went to very few carbs on my 2 days. I have found 1 day of fasting easy to do.
