I'm happy with this weeks number. I even ate 2 pieces of pizza last night... I don't even feel guilty about it because I'm making progress. Could I have done without the pizza? Sure. But, I'm making small strides...and they all add up! :) I'm still trying to knock back the carb intake though.

Helloooo!
Well, I won't lie--today started out very stressful.
I overslept...I set my alarm for 5am last night, but apparently I forgot to turn it ON! It's a good thing my husband randomly woke up because otherwise, I'm sure I would have just kept on sleeping. We woke up at 6:35 and I had to be to work at 7! I don't think I have EVER gotten ready so fast before in my entire life.
I made it to work on time, but I was way behind. I work at a coffee shop so there is a lot of prep work that I have to do before I can open the doors for business. I start work at 6:15 and I do it all on my OWN.
After all the commotion with running late and opening the shop died down it turned out to be a good day though. :)
I didn't weigh in this morning for obvious reasons, so I will weigh in tomorrow morning!

I had a dr appointment on Monday to get a prescription for a UTI (yuck) and it sort of turned into my breaking point.
The Dr was really concerned about my weight and my blood pressure was high. It was 153/92--although, I always get really nervous at Dr appt's and I was definitely feeling a high level of anxiety when they took my bp. The Dr took it again after talking for a few minutes and it was 133/90-something, so it had come down, but I was still feeling anxious at that point.
This new Dr also was interested in talking to me about how to lose weight. I told him that I try on my own, but it's really hard and it doesn't want to come off. He said that weightloss is hard with Insulin Resistance and PCOS...He even offered up some help with an eating plan.
He told me that I need to do a modified version of the Atkins diet. Apparently I can have small portions of carbs, but only "whole foods" like whole wheat stuffs.
Ever since Monday's appt I have been feeling guilty over every morsel of food that I've put in my mouth. Today, I had had enough of the guilt. I told myself I wasn't going to eat any refined sugar and/or white carbs---AND, I didn't!
Okay, maybe a few grams of sugar in my strawberry cream cheese, lol. ;) But, it's a start and I am excited! So excited!

I did pretty good this week. M, Tu & Wednesday I was on plan - no cheats. Thursday I was on plan all day until the evening when Hubby & I had McD's. Then all weekend we just ate out. Pizza friday, McD's again Saturday and Subway yesterday.
At one point I was down to 280.4! Yeah, I ruined that one, lol. Oh well...
Overall, I am very happy with my 2.8 pound loss!
