I don't know what got into me, but I decided to walk 6 miles today. I was so tired after 3 but I kept pushing myself. I really, really want to get under 150 pounds. I didn't think I could walk that far, but I did :) I guess I know what it's like to walk the 10k race, lol. Anyway, I really wore myself out and probably only burned about 300 calories but hopefully my metabolism sped up slightly. For breakfast I had a carnation instant breakfast shake in chocolate and a frozen banana and bagel with cream cheese for a total of 500 cals.

Ugh, September 5 seems like a long way away today. I had a slight cramp in my leg so I had to cut down on some of my exercise...booo!! I did 20 minutes on the bicycle with the first 10 minutes doing 2.37 miles and the last 2.37 I think. I also did 35 minutes on the stairclimber. I wonder why they don't have stairclimbing listed in the exercise activities journal??!! For breakfast, I had an off-band chocolate protein bar (yummy) for 180 cals, one weight control instant oatmeal maple & brown sugar packet 160 cals, 3/4 cup of milk for 90 cals, and a little bit of yoplait yogurt for about 60 cals.

Today I had one serving of Quaker Instant Oatmeal Weight Control Maple and Brown Sugar which is 130 cals, 1 cup of 1% milke 90 cals, almost a whole thing of blueberry yoplait yogurt 170 cals and half a blueberry bagel 135 cals with 1 oz of neufchatel cheese 70 cals. I did 45 minutes on the treadmill and 20 on the stairclimber with a 5 minute cooldown on the bicycle. I am excited that I'm a little less than two weeks from being on this diet for 2 months straight which beats my all-time record high of one month. I can't wait til Sept. 5! Maybe by then, I'll be 152 :-)

Today I did the weights for 20 minutes or so and walked 2.15 miles for 40 minutes and bicycled 10 minutes for a total of 2.32 miles. The bicycle was harder than I thought it would be, lol. For breakfast, I had two packets of oatmeal (320 cals.) and a bagel with neufchatel cheese. I will be glad when the weather gets prettier so I can walk outside :D

I think I'm pretty motivated to keep going so far-the pedometer I have keeps me motivated and not to mention the 13 pounds I have lost! I just got through walking 4.32 miles and 84 minutes on the treadmill at an average pace of 3.2 mph. Whew, lol. I am thinking about bicycling next time, but since it's not weight-bearing, I'd probably have to bicycle about 15 to 20 miles to get the same results. In about an hour, dinnertime! I also joined this challenge to lose 10 pounds by Halloween (also my husband's birthday) and I think it will be a snap.
