I am excited for the first time and not just excited because something was amazing. No... I'm excided beyond words because for the first in almost 7 years there is a 1 in front of my weight. I am deeply thrilled and about to come out of my skin excited. God is so so very awesome. I have been down about my weight so much lately that instead of looking towadr the grander picture I broke it down and started to examine it peice by peice. Baby step by baby step. I changed my goal to a lesser weight loss because even though there is a graph that shows me I'm losing... it was still so far from the end. And by changing the goal... that graph looks a lot better to me and the weight is coming off again.
I keep telling myself that the goal is the end result of a long journey and it is but when taken in steps, it is more rewarding and far more appealing to see the colors go from red to yellow!
I am shouting out with super excitement! I am gonna reach this step!

I changed my goal weight today because I realized that I put my self on a tough challenge. I kept getting discouraged and even angry with myself that I wasn't getting there fast enough. So my new goal is more reasonable and can be changed once I get closer to this new one. I think I let myself believe for too long that 140 was going to happen by my goal date and that's just not possible unless I starve myself to death. So 175 is more manageable. 26 pounds is more likely to happen than 60+ pounds by my birthday.
I'm satisfied with the new change and know it is attainable with hard work and proper dieting. So, now I can stop the unhappiness of reaching my goals and focus on getting there in steps instead of leaps.

I have found myself at a platue. I hate it and not to mention this is PMS week so... blah blah blah is how I feel. Gimme one cookie and a huge bottle of water. I'm in super mode!
