Well only a small loss this past 2 weeks. But after driving to Adelaide for my sons wedding and after all the socialising and eating that goes with special occassions and then driving back home to Melb I can say im really happy that my weight didnt go up (even though I was prepared for that)
This week its all about losing that .4 to get into the 114's. And in reality im only 2.9kgs away from losing my first 10kilos !!!

Oh wow. Last week was a huge loss which I put down to a 2 hour walk before my weigh in each Saturday afternoon. But here we are a week later, same routine and down even further today. The truth is I had a huge weight loss the week before and my cynical self didnt want to accept such a positive result. I was afraid it was too good to be true and said I'll settle for same weight this week in case it really was too good to be true and I wouldnt be disappointed this week. Oh ye of little faith.....
So today I'm celebrating losing 7kgs since Feb.

Nothing wrong, but the last 2 days have not been aligned with what I say I am committed to. So ive been looking at what was missing that might have made a difference, and what is missing that would make a difference now.
Ive discovered that I tend to eat more if I think the food might go off. My friend cooked a roast Tuesday night and gave me left overs. Wednesday night after eating an early tea, I found the left over roast and thought id better eat that or I'll have to throw it out, so at 23.30 I ate the left over roast. It was friggin awesome, as left overs are. But not only did it blow Wednesday's calories outta the water, it set up over eating my calories for Thursday. I mean, its already stuffing up my week, might as well have a chicken kebab for lunch on Thursday. And to top it off I hadnt kept my food diary up to date so those 2 days so I was guessing and justifying etc. What was missing was meal planning and tracking. So I filled out my food book and what do you know, calories way over.
I've discovered just how much I need to keep my diary up to date. I need the structure and accountability it brings. And that was missing.
So, it's 01.00 Friday morning, my food book is up to date, and later this morning I'll rough out my easter food plan. I wonder what a salad tastes like with chocolate easter egg sprinkled on it.....

Well, I wasnt expecting that. In fact it was 115.8 but straight after a long walk so I basically split the difference. Thats a pretty big drop even down to 116.7 so my goal this week will be to consolidate the drop. But, its heading in the right direction.
Just think, I'm only 1.7kgs from a feed of KFC that i promised myself when i got to 115 😛😛

Worked hard for the .5 kilo this week. A few 2 hour walks arounfd Lysterfield Lake. No bread or pasta at all this week. Had a few of those little rice cups with some chicken sticks. 2 Aldi chicken sticks and a mini cup of rice is a meal. Used to be at least double that anx more. No takeaway. I think I'll shout myself some KFC when I hit 115kgs.
