I resolved to focus on more sleep, and better quality sleep, and after years of abusing caffeine to the tune of 600mg to 1000mg or more a day, I decided to taper down, and eventually cut off completely, my intake of caffeine in all forms.
Giving up dark chocolate was the hardest. That and the mid afternoon fatigue in the first several weeks after quitting. I’ve been caffeine free for 45 days now, and my sleep quality is much improved, and my adrenal system seems to be bouncing back steadily, but slowly, with a more consistent energy level throughout the day.

Home-made yuca fries made in the air fryer with fractionated (clear liquid) coconut oil. After cooking, I dusted with Tajín seasoning, and kelp (seaweed) granules for nutritional iodine. Mmmmh-mmmmh-mmmmh! 🧑🍳😋

Breakfast: 58g protein (42%) 39g carbs (28%) 25g fat (28%) 553 calories: beef organ & bone broth (14oz), 2 whole eggs + 6 egg whites w/Parmesan reggano, kim chee, sauerkraut, sautéed veggies, blueberries & pineapple.

Breakfast: 36g protein, 32g fat, 513 calories: 2 eggs, a little more than 1/2 cup liquid egg whites, (about 2 egg whites) 2 tablespoons of sheep’s milk feta, 1/2 medium avocado, lacinato dinosaur kale sautéed in lamb tallow. Now, time for a bike ride.

Dinosaur kale & romaine & red cabbage salad with pineapple, mandarin orange, pulled lamb, and kimchi. Between the juicy fruit & succulent braised red meat, no salad dressing was needed. I don’t know the calories, (not) sorry.
