I’ve been upping my cardio intensity. Who knew an incline of 6 (on the treadmill) could be so exhausting!! A few minutes at 6 and I wanna collapse 😂😅 It feels like running!

Week 2 of my cut was very unsuccessful 😪 I’ll blame my period. Currently on day 4. Started only 18 days after the last. I knew something was wrong (crying over a broken can opener 😅 was the first sign) but it was just too early. I’ve been successful at warding off emotional eating for the most part, but I lose control while hormonal. I ate 1986 daily average calories. That’s just above what I believe to be maintenance. However, I usually get 4-5 workouts in and I only got 3 last week so no bueno. I haven’t started this week off that great as far as eating goes but I just completed workout #2 so hopefully I’ll be able to salvage this week and see a loss.

I am in a real funk this week. Thank god it is almost over 😑 Only 2 gym visits and my calories are too high due to all the quick snacks.
In other news my company is restructuring. My position has been eliminated in 75% of the stores. When my store closes in May/June I will be laid off. I am trying to come to terms with that 😞 Maybe I’ll just pack up my kids and our stuff and move to a city I really want to live in... I hate Miami and there are very few opportunities for me here 😒

Week 1 of my cut is complete. I lost a total of 3 pounds. My average daily cal consumption was 1500 calories. With the weekend, my weekly average was 1694. Which is perfect because my goal was 1700 cals a day 👍
I found it very easy to eat only 1500 cals daily. I ate 1 or 2 high calorie snacks everyday too! I ate very mindfully 😃 one thing that helped was being extremely busy 😅 We’ll see what happens this week. I’m lowering my cals to 1600 daily. I’m going to try not to have such a high cal weekend

I forgot to log my weight yesterday! I was so busy. My weight is up a bit this morning which is to be expected after the pizza and cake.
I did front squats yesterday morning. I’m pretty sore now 😅 I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was trying to hold the bar in my hands. You need to lay the bar across you collar bone and let them rest in your hands to balance it 😃
