since the last time i started my diet and was keeping track of things I had gotten my weight down to 179...that was back in Spring of 2012...when i stopped following due to illness and physical ailments/surgeries, etc..I have since regained that weight. When at the docs yesterday, they weighed me in at 200...I was so upset, so the 20 lbs i had lost..i have regained..ho hum :( ...but this time around , i am in for the long/forever haul...and more determined then ever..after all ..I'm not getting any younger...As I have mentioned Ive been thru alot these last two years...and getting my weight down...then more illness and surgeries..its been quite the roller coaster..this time...no matter what, i am gonna bite my tongue, take the pain and keep on rolling on to a happier/healthier me....everyday is a blessing...every lost pound..also a blessing..so I am gonna start counting my blessings as well as my RDI and calories...:) A new year...and gonna be a NEW me...^_^

am feeling quite confident and determined to lose atleast 40 lbs by spring....even with severe lower back pain...nerve damage and numbness in extremitites and a bum left knee..i did howver make it to my docs office yesterday and tomorrow have some xrays scheduled to see just how bad and exactly what is causing all the pain...o.0 went shopping and was very good at checking labels and watching sugars, salt and carbs...which is something i really need to do..im not on e who goes out to eat often so it should be easy to follow my own diet...i have done atkins in the past years and years ago but that was before all my surgeries and physical issues...and now , the new way of doing it...the changes they've made adn not being able to be as physical as I would like..Atkins didnt work for me the last time i tried it at the beginning of last year...but I do take some of its criteria in to consideration in my own diet along with calories in and calories burned...and am seriously adding water to my intake as well..I can do this..and so acn YOU...Happier Healthier Days ahead...peace Dar xx
