Bought a new scale and no matter how many times I stepped on it- it kept saying 111.8! Considering my other scale was saying 107-108 every time this is obviously disappointing. I was really, really happy to be seeing the other side of 110- since my goal is 100.
However, I need to keep reminding myself that I am doing something right because I had to go out and buy new clothes for myself because all my tops and bottoms were too baggy to look nice anymore. I am assuming that since my weight is still high that this means I am gaining muscle and (hopefully) losing fat.
*Sigh* well, I guess I will just wait for the weight to come off eventually.

At this point I am just going to follow the guidelines for how often to run because I am really enjoying pushing myself and feeling the increase of energy!
Did 40 minutes yesterday, but the run was cut short by thunderstorms. I must say, running in the rain is quite fun! My pace was 9 minutes 5 seconds per mile and I was able to run 4.35 miles. Because I am not the least bit sore and I wasn't able to run as much as I wanted to yesterday I will not be resting today but going for another run- but I may keep this one a tad shorter than an hour just to make sure I don't push myself too far.
Stupid scale doesn't appear to be moving (at all) so I am going to buy a digital just in case our analog is being goofy. Besides- it would be nice to have a more accurate reading.

Still no weight loss, but I am really enjoying this beginners running challenge- although I must admit I am modifying it to keep myself pushing. Yesterday I walked/ran 6 miles in one hour- 10 minutes 18 seconds on average per mile! It felt AMAZING!
Even better, I was only a tad sore this morning and 99% of that went away after I stretched for a few minutes so I am comfortable thinking that while I am pushing myself to go further, the day of rest between runs is enough to allow my body to repair itself.

HUGE moment for me- I got rid of my "fat pants". Yup, all of them. Half my drawer was emptied. Not gonna lie- the skinny pants *just* fit and are just a touch tight but since my bigger pants were falling off my butt this is the better of the two options.
I am also noticing a lot of my shirts are looking too baggy- two of my cardigans won't even stay on my shoulders anymore... so I am thinking that I may have to weed out some of my tops as well now.
This feels good as the actual scale hasn't shown any movement for weeks, I think almost a month now. Very frustrating, but I am obviously doing something right since I am able to fit into smaller clothes.
Going for run tonight. And I am having french fries for dinner. Again. The Pampered Chef french fry cutter is quickly becoming my favorite kitchen tool because it allows me to eat fries that are baked, un-processed, spicy and freaking awesome!
