Hello! I am still going strong and loving it! I have now been 100% on plan for 11 days--not a single cheat! And, Hubby too! He's doing fantastic as well!

I need to vent a little...

I am supposed to be switching to Phase 2 here in a few days, but it has me worried. My body is really sensitive to carbs of ALL varieties, even whole grains! It's crazy. So, even when I was just eating low cal/low fat I would gain weight. This was with eating whole grains, no refined sugar and little to no fruit (because fruit sugars mess w/ my body too!)...

I guess my concern is that I am feeling a little anxiety about moving into Phase 2. I am doing so well on Phase 1 and carbs are evil according to my body. In all actuality I don't really even have the desire to eat those types of carbs.

Hubby thinks I need to follow into Phase 2 with him and is sort of hurt that I am thinking about staying in Phase 1... I'm not trying to hurt him by any means, I'm just scared that the weight loss will stop and the weight will come back!

I'm tempted to do a combination of Phase 1 & 2. Eat mostly Phase 1, but incorporate some Phase 2 foods a couple times per week. I don't want to deprive Hubby from eating cereal, bread and pasta, but I just don't feel like those are the foods my body is meant to be eating right now.

I am sort of at a loss. Oye!

Anyhow--I am looking forward to my weigh-in on Tuesday morning! :) Weight loss this week will be a BIG one! ;-)

Everything is going very well. I'm on day #5 without any cheats! In all honesty, I don't even have to urge to eat carbs or junk food. I'm perfectly happy with my lean proteins and veggies! =D

I haven't had much of an appetite the last couple of days which leads me to believe that I'm in Ketosis. Yay for Ketosis! LOL I ate lunch around 1 o'clock this afternoon and I am just NOW starting to feel the rumbling in my tummy! It's now 6 hours later and all I've had since noon was 15 green olives & 1/2 c of cottage cheese. I'd better go rummage through the fridge for something yummy! =D

I worked on meal planning for this week to help give me a little more guidance at the grocery store... Sometimes I walk in there and I feel like I'm a "deer staring into headlights!" LOL. I want to be very prepared for grocery shopping since Low Carb eating can be a little salty (pricey) if you're not careful! If you're interested in our weekly menu feel free to check it out.

Tuesday - Rotisserie Chicken & "Mock" Potatoes
Wednesday - Turkey Bacon & Cheese Turkey Burgers & Side Salad
Thursday - Taco Salad (made with my homemade Seasoning)
Friday - Grilled Chicken & Side Salad
Saturday - Eggs, Turkey Sausage and/or Turkey Bacon
Sunday - Broccoli & Cheese Soup
Monday - Chicken Stir Fry

Well, that's all I have to report for now! Tomorrow's the weigh-in! I'm actually pretty excited about this one! =D I'm off to go make me some dinner!
