Finally got downtown to Macy's so I could use their scale, and I lost seven-tenths of a pound in the last month. What was most astounding to me was that I lost any weight at all, what with those days I maxxed out on carbs. The best thing I did was, to take a month off from sugar: after the first 2-1/2 weeks (the absolute worst cravings, that did not go down without a fight!!), things finally quieted down enough for me to think about something else for a change. It turns out I can live without sugar, which is downright cool, especially since I don't have any cravings for chocolate. Being able to track what I eat here on FS has been a tremendous help in identifying what I want to keep doing, and what I want to change. FS ftw!
