After being an overweight teen and in the obese category as a young adult, I lost weight and joined the military. I loved it, but started gaining weight again and just could not figure out how to lose it. I exercised like a fiend (sometimes 3x day) but now that I know what I know...my diet was atrocious and no wonder short little me couldn't lose the weight. Fast forward a few year: I don't have all the answers now, but I am glad I know a bit better. Still need to track because when I don't, the weight creeps up. I love fatty food...and I am not talking greasy spoon type food...but peanut butter, avocado, nuts, seeds; the supposedly healthy fats are not my friend (or else they are loving me a little too much and sticking around longer than I want them to and I am the one that is not a good friend).

Still loving exercise, and I tend to go high intensity and high frequency for myself.

I love learning about nutrition, I am a total geek. I also enjoy reading (nutrition, fitness, sci-fi, religion, physics, to name a few). My life is over-all pretty boring, because I just fill it with the same thing from day to day...cleaning, reading, working out, working, and finally going to sleep. My eating is boring too, because I try to eat as cleanly as possible due to health issues.
