Interesting week health wise. The cough is all that remains of the cold, it’s nasty, but figuring out how to deal with it. Vicks is my new best friend. Carrying it everywhere. Drinking tons of fruit tea. Totally behind on Christmas, a little disappointed with myself there, but sometimes sh*t happens. Finally got a decent sleep last night. One of the more interesting things about this particular journey has been watching oxygen saturation and the fluctuations in body temp over the days. I decided to chill out and give myself a break on closing rings. Little walks, sunshine, just enough to breathe fresh air. Smart scale to the rescue once again as it showed me that the fluctuations were water retention, not a real gain, this morning reflects that.

I miss my nightly walks, but the cold air is hard on me. I’m missing all the Christmas lights. I’m hoping to see them next week. One of the best things about LED lights is that everyone seems to be hanging them with wild abandon and houses that rarely did much are going all out. I love it. We’re going to take the dogs on the miniature railroad train tonight. The big dogs will go, but leaving Summer behind as I can’t rely on her to take instruction. Not worth the risk. She’s doing better, but she’s really going to be a challenge to train. I say that three months in and we’re still working on sit.
