Hello FS community members.
I was surprised that I got so many “like it” and comments about my salads.
I just enjoy to prepare meals for my husband every day.
I am just a housewife and he works so hard and takes care of everything for our household.
What I can do for him is that just preparing nutritious foods every dinner as much as possible.
Good meals are not only tasty but also comprehensive health benefits. I just keep thinking to make dinner as “Medical meals” because every foods has nutritions.
The reason we eat lots of vegetables is that they have phytochemicals and enzymes. I don’t know if actually these factors work for our bodies, but we seem don’t catch cold easily. Thankfully, we never have covid-19 as well.
Additionally, if I were veggies or fruits, I want to ask a foods preparer to cook “good looking” if my life that will be eaten anyway.
So, I want to prepare them “nice and colorful” and appreciate with all foods we eat.
(That’s the reason Japanese people say “Itadaki-masu (meaning thank you for give us your life for saving my life)

You have a knack for creating meals that are pleasing to the eye as well as the tongue and body. It's something that I like to do also, if it is pretty on the plate I seem to savor it more and all of my senses are satiated at the end of a meal. The phrase “Itadaki-masu" is reminiscent of a meal blessing that our Native American population would say to their food prior to cooking it: Teachings on the Daily Gift of Food
With each meal, be aware that the food we eat was once a life, and to honor it as such.
Say thank you to the members of the plant and animal kingdoms who have given up their life so we can continue ours: the vegetable, berry, four legged, swimmer and winged nations.
Pray for their continued abundance and protection
Try to leave the table before feeling completely full. It increases our will power.
Also, those organs within us that need to break down the food and carry it throughout our whole system will not have enough room to work if we’re stuffed full of food.
