Night musings. I haven’t been eating poorly, but not as many fruits and veggies as i normally do. Started fixing that today with a salad at lunch, and veggies with dinner. I need to be mindful that I’m under a tremendous amount of stress and need to do what i can to help my body cope as we go through all of this. The good news is that my face looks good at the moment, not a vanity thing, it means that the usual stress markers of redness and breakouts prior to eczema are still at bay. Another reason to get those fruits and veggies in. I have noticed that some of my joints hurt more than normal (especially my garbage knee), so jumping on it and may bring out the Cho-pat. We have an internal medicine appt for Shasta in a week-so very lucky to snag one that quickly. She’s eating, but very slow on the walks. Talked to my primary vet today, she thinks Shasta doesn’t feel well, but isn’t showing signs of being in pain. Sadie is just her normal happy self, but the tumor below her lip is bigger. All we can do is move forward. Time for bed.
