As you all probably know, our weight fluctuates quite a bit throughout the day. So when do you think is the best time of day to weigh yourself? I am one of those that hops on the scale every time I go to the bathroom. (Chalk it up to my OCD- smile) but I noticed I weigh the least both first thing in the morning and right before bed. I'd love to hear your input!

Interesting, I only weigh in the morning after the bathroom. I'll have to try the evening. I will be surprised if I dont weigh more. I do eat a lot of salt, I'm thinking water retention if nothing else..

I only weigh myself once a day and that is in the morning.

AFter I shower and right before I get dressed. Sometimes I do jump on the scale before I leave for my workout and then when I get back; but this is just out of curisoty not to judge how good my workout was.

I have found that for the most consistent (and low) results, you can't beat the "After I rise and relieve myself, before I do anything else". However, since I recently got my Tanita Scale that measures body fat, I've had to change to weighing myself before dinner after about a 2 hour fasting period to get a true body fat measurement. This gives a pound or two higher result than the morning (dehydrated) weigh-in, but it is still consistent, so that you can track weight movement up or down, which is the most important thing.

Thanks guys for all the input. Now after chuckling to myself... I'll set a specific time to weigh in each day so my results are consistent. Thank you for being so open and honest! Love y'all!

I weigh myself every morning, generally the same time without clothes. Usually better after a bowel movement. :)

Yes, consistent time is much more important than any specific time. Could not agree more.
