It's always a challenge to get back into the groove after a few days not staying with the program. Seems like every day gets a little easier, but I just can't seem to do it all at once...one day eating awful for the holidays-the next back on track. :) I do think that the Diet Calendar helps though...just to see what's going on.

I'm not sure I said here, but I won't go to Rome this year for the marathon. There is just no way to prepare in time, or to prepare to the requirement of finishing 26.2 miles in 6.5 hours. I've told my friend and she called me a slacker. phhhhtttt. ;) However, there is a half-marathon here in the Seattle area on the same day--March 20--that I have signed up for and will train to do. 13.1 is much easier to wrap my head around too. :) My youngest daughter is training to run it while I walk, I registered her as a Yule gift. There are also a couple of marathons in the UK, Dublin and Inverness, in October that I have pointed out to my friend. They are walker friendly...giving walkers more time to finish...and would be lovely to visit. We'll see...

I want to begin journaling more in the new year. There are several things I want to do more of in the new year. Making a plan...
