Diario de nmarsden, 26 jul. 10

Eating spinach and eggs for breakfast this morning. My mom used to make it for me when I was a kid. She'd boil the spinach and make sunny side up eggs so the yolk is goey. It was wonderful!

Mine doesn't taste the same. But then, I sauteed the spinach in garlic instead of boiling. I like nutrients. :) But the taste is different. More tangy. Maybe I should have looked for a recipe. LOL

Funny, but I find myself eating a lot of the dishes my grandparents made me as a kid too....but that (on traditional diets like Weight Watchers) I had completely avoided! Im enjoying some good stuff thats giving me some nice nostalgic flashbacks :-)

You can't go wrong adding garlic to anything in my book. But yeah, it probably didn't taste quite the same :)
