Diario de Lotus, 24 may. 08

Doing pretty good with maintaining! I know it looks like a gain on the chart but it's not much, and TOM is here. I though for sure the scale would be up more today, since I had a late salty snack of popcorn, oh yes..uh, and chocolate, oops..and more fat and calories than normal two days in a row.
I would like to keep it a little more moderate today..oi.
We will see.
I definitely think having a filling breakfast is super important to fighting cravings the rest of the day. I had cereal yesterday, with sugary kind mixed in with the healthy, and I noticed I was definitely craving more sugar mid-morning.
I had a yummy breakfast this morning that I have never tried before. It always sounded weird, but I thought I would give it a try. I had an engish muffin with reduced fat turkey bacon, 1 egg white, fat free cheese, and(here's the odd part) 2 teaspoons reduced fat peanut butter! Wow it was so good!
Elvis knew what he was talking about with that bacon and PB!
UH HUH HUH! ( lip curling and pelvic thrusting optional!) :D
Too bad they only had the fatty versions back then, poor guy,lol.
I saved my breakfast to a new meal and called it the Skinny Elvis! Da da da da da i'm lovin' it..(my own McDonaldesque theme song)
Yes I am in a better mood today. Eating more and not gaining a ton (yet, lol..uh oh I shouldn't jinx it)makes me happy for one thing. Also I did some much needed and much dreaded organizing and cleaning yesterday, which takes some of the stress out of moving for me personally. I have more to do but getting started is the hardest part.
I have been bad lately about wanting to snack to delay doing things I dread, like housework and organizing!
Hopefully I can refrain from snacking so much today, and get more veggies in.
Well i'll keep ya'll updated about the move, if anything changes. Right now we're just getting organized and ready to go.
I am deciding to NOT WORRY!!! No point on worrying about the future, take it one day at a time and trust God, that is what I need to do.

You are doing marvelous and you are so right now to worry. It just happened to me, has before, it will happen here and there but the difference is that now we know how to keep it in check. You rock!
