I super killed my calories today. I am feeling very lethargic, overly emotional, and whatever else description to signify having a crappy day fits in. It probably wouldnt have been so bad if I hadnt killed my entire day on a chili dog and cheese fries for lunch. I knew what I was doing, and I asked for it..the hot dog that is. I honestly thought, well I'm going to eat this and that will hold me off till tomorrow. Does not work that way, and I should have known better. I am mad at myself. And I'm still hungry. My stomach is sticking out and it hurts.

this might not be a horrible thing. you may have gone a bit too far over, but i keep reading about shocking your metabolism by jumping around with your calories. especially if your weight loss has been a bit stagnant which your has for a few days. by going over your rdi one day and then under the next and then staying within your rdi the following days that's suppose to help jump start your metabolism. don't kill yourself over this. just hop back on the wagon and see if this metabolism shock works. you should obviously expect to gain tomorrow, but should see some weight loss the following days.

When you need a chili cheese dog, you really need a chili cheese dog. That's all I can say about that. I'm thinking that 2073 calories isn't enough to make you GAIN weight. If this is anything, it's a little stall. And, if the hot dog was worth a little stall, good for you. And if it wasn't, avoid it next time!

I agree with sooki....Sometimes you just need a chili cheese dog, I had 2 about two weeks ago and it was totally worth it. I just added an extra workout or two that week. Its all about averages in you RDI. Keep that weekly at or below you RDI and you will be fine. This is a lifestyle and sometimes you are going to want a hotdog and sometimes you are going to want that slice of pizza it does not make you a failure. You are human and should not deprive yourself, that is how bingeing starts and then you look up fro the table and you had 4000 calories instead of just that one meal taking you over 2000. Happy Eating. :-)

I had the same experience with some food Arby's and some more food from Long John Silver's last weekend. I really can do without the heartburn next time around.

I had the same thing, McDonalds. I was on a road trip and we stopped for McDonalds which I hadn't had in months. About 30 minutes later I was puking by the side of the highway and I felt sick for 2 days :( That sucked, but it was the last time I will ever eat McDonalds, so I think it was worth it in the end :) Hope you feel better.

Funny how when we get used to eating real healthful food the crap at the fast food places make us feel sick. Hmmm makes you think doesn't it? I have been there too. It had been over 6 months since I had eaten any type of fast food. Stopped at Burger King and had the chicken fries and onion rings (I so used to love their onion rings). I was scary sick that night (details intentionally left out as inappropriate), scary enough that it has been almost a year since then and I am still fearful enough to avoid it today. I find the Safeway deli much safer, you can get fruit there.. hard boiled eggs... etc (not to say I don't make poor food choices still, just learned that lesson). Hope you are feeling better, move on we have all gone there :)
