Thanksgiving day was TOUGH! And to make it even tougher, our boys came to town for the week and we have a tradition of homemade spaghetti the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We've been doing it since they were both toddlers and they've both helped every year since. So, I had about 4 days of carbs in one meal, but I loved every bite! Other than that, I had a "samples" of items, but I didn't go back for seconds, and I resisted almost all of the sweets.

What a great tradition with the kids...sometimes you got to put plans on hold to make memories with those you love.

Well thanks y'all. I did learn something about carbing out like I did, I was VERY hungry just a few hours later and felt like I was starving by the next morning. Not like now when I'm satiated for many hours after my now normal way of eating.

Isn't it amazing how the hunger is nearly gone if you stay away from the carbs? It's enough to have two meals a day and everything is fine...😉
