20 hr fast yesterday

Got a really sore throat, so ate ok when I broke my fast, but had ice cream for dinner and breakfast to numb my thrust to take tablets.. can't even swallow tea 😱

On the cold capsules , put some water in the freezer.

Kinda sorry/ not sorry about resisting the GIN POPSICLES I found in the supermarket freezer yesterday!!

Ouch - sounds a really nasty sore throat. Maybe strep throat. Might be best to get to the doctor or you'll be miserable all weekend if it is. Check to see if you have white patches at the back. Hope you feel better soon Poppy.

ThanksDoobs, I get them from time to time.. although not nearly as frequently as when I was a newsagent.. people would put their hand to their mouth while coughing or sneezing in my queue, then hand me their money... all the hand sanitizer in the world couldn't prevent my cold/throat infections then! Still, this is only my second one this winter, so not too bad 😉 Hope your cold clears up aswell🤗
