I have been laid up with Sciatica for the last week, unable to stand up straight or walk more than a few steps at a time before having to stop and let the pain subside, so needless to say, not been doing a lot! I have been trying to reduce my eating accordingly, as not burning it off, but some of the pain meds the Dr has me on are making me have the munchies, so having to battle that. I cannot weigh myself properly either as being bent over on the scale gives a much different reading, not sure if it will make my weight go up,or down, but I am hoping I just stay steady or have a small gain.
On the up side though I have discovered that I have some truly wonderful friends and neighbours who are offering to help with anything I or my mother need, it is heartening to know that there is still such kind and generous people out there.
So my goal for this week is to stand up properly and get back to work next week, as Netflix has proved to be a disappointing distraction, all I search for they do not seem to have <sigh>
