Pleasantly surprised.
Have had virtually no sleep and eaten carbs for last 48hours..
No journaling or recording....
My 15 year old was rushed to hospital unable to swallow or open her mouth.
We went to 3 hospitals ( including a 20 mile ambulance transfer at 3.30 am) before she was properly diagnosed and treated.. glandular fever required iv antibiotics and fluids.
We're home now and she's on the mend but it was very stressful
Aim to be back recording food and activity tomorrow.. was Mia from home for 2 days so trying to sort out the house today

Glad you got it diagnosed. Nasty illness that usually hits teenagers. Apparently it used to be known as the kissing disease.

Well done, Poppy. Although you probably burnt up a lot of calories in worry and through lack of sleep. Hope your daughter soon recovers x

Such a shame it took so much to get a diagnosis but at least she's now in the right place with the right treatment. Time for you to relax back onto your plan. All the best!

my daughter is now much better
she's really pleased she has no PE for a month ( she cant risk anyone banging into her liver or spleen or they could bleed!)
back on track today!
