Well, that was a rubbish month. Just shows - a) I need to keep focus and log and weigh daily b) Gin is dangerous.
Particularly the latest one. Tanqueray export strength which is over 43% ABV. The gin was a very different taste and very, very nice.
A couple of small shots of that and I was eating ice cream from the bucket. I wouldn't mind, but I don't even *like* ice cream.
Good news is that there was no hangover and the carb monster seems to be reasonably well under control now. A friend's (yes, my gin drinking pal) Birthday dinner and although we ate a whole side of fresh wild Pacific salmon baked in butter and pepper, (slurp) between the two of us, the ice cream was the only carb, there was no cake. 85% chocolate doesn't count, right??
I know. Sad really. But I am going to try again for the third time, to get back on track.
As a side note - I inherited a pile of clothes from a friend a couple or three weeks ago, putting them aside for the summer. Jeans. light short girly skirts, all that sort of stuff. Deffo summer wear.. I needed to put them away as no way can I wear them now, they are marked at UK 12. Today I thought I would give myself a kick and see just how far off the mark I am, having let go of the reins.
WOO HOO - I know it is Vanity labelling, but I am now wearing a little skirt over a pair of skinny jeans. So I weigh the same or more, but seem to be smaller. Muscle??? (rofl) Nah, it is Vanity labelling in the clothes, but hey, that's ok with me.
