After nearly a week my weight shows some movement at last. Down half a pound. I expected that after last week's swift movement down it would take my body a few days to catch its breath, as it were. So it has. The hard thing is not to be frustrated as the numbers don't go down.
I still have a way to go, more than two stone, before I reach maintenance weight and can think about what a maintenance diet (around 1,800 calories) would involve). I've been spartan in my approach thus far (though I'm not ready by any means for a run through the Laconian countryside).
