up again 🙄 but i found an app that will allow me to rate the quality of foods before I even leave the store, so no more low quality "food" (aka: chemical laden, highly processed trash) is coming home in my shopping cart ever again.. 😌 and I'm feeling like that alone is gonna make all the difference

It's called Yuka, and you can also scan personal care and beauty products with it. Very handy for weeding out carcinogens and stuff that could mess with your hormones n such. I've thrown so much crap out already, it's scary how much literal poison I've been eating and smearing on my body for decades. So far I'm finding that the good quality personal products tend to be more expensive than the mainstream (poison) stuff but they're smaller companies that aren't cutting corners, and the more people put money back into the small ethical businesses the sooner they'll eventually be able to reduce their prices to reach a wider audience.. so I don't mind paying more for a stick of deodorant or bottle of shampoo when it's only once a month or two anyway. The food prices I haven't found any real difference in though, but it helps speed up the decision process cuz I don't have to study every single ingredient list and look up all the scientific names one by one to see what they are or what they can do to a body. It's nice to have that work done for me.. and if there's something that isnt in the database yet it's a pretty simple process of scanning the packaging that is evaluated within a few hours at most. I don't see me ever going shopping without this app again.

Right? 😬 I wanted to go shopping, but really needed a shower, lol, but when I checked my bathroom supplies I was too freaked out to use them 😵 so I went au natural n apologized to the teller on the way out. 😅 Totally worth the public humbling to get some personal supplies that weren't going to literally kill me. 😳😌
