I would join your challenge but both pools in town are closing for the summer.

Oh bummer! I am going to try and find some outdoor lake to swim in, the clorine is trashing my hair,skin. The only thing is I am creeped out some big pike fish will bite my toes. ö.Ö

Swimming is terrific exercise. Chlorine is not really nice. My daughter is changing her pool to a salt filtering system. No chlorine. I will be interested to see how it works. I have no pool access just to do laps and the closest lake I can swim in is a couple hours away. I love to swim. I checked into our local pool that has a nice senior price but to do laps the availability is weekday am till mornings!! Does not work when my work hours are 7 am till 3:30 mon - Fri. Maybe I'll get that promotion or something and be able to afford the gym membership with the pool sometime soon.

Wow, you have done so well! I have just joined fatsecret and pray it will help me. So many diets, yoyo-ing for years. Because of disability, swimming is the only exercise I can do. Thrive on encouragement so need a buddy or two to help me along the way. Please be my buddy.
