Diario de midnightoil, 06 may. 15

Was a really busy week and had to limit my walking a few days but made sure to keep my fiber intake. Went to see my VA primary doctor and he is concerned about my really low blood pressure and will take a EKG and stress test soon. I stopped taking beta blockers months ago at the advice of the VA weight loss RN. My heart rate at rest is in the 50's and 40's when i am sleeping. My oxygen levels are very high and I feel great. I told my doctor that I walk about 5 miles every day and I believe the low blood pressure is from the activity and the spices I put in my brown rice/quinoa (garlic, ginger, chia). I have just been following the rules the VA dietician gave me and its working they way it should. But I guess it never hurts to be sure.

Great to hear from you, Buddy...My best guess is that YOU are CORRECT about the reason for your low BP...but as you say,"it never hurts to be sure!" (MY BP was low at my annual physical, my DR.changed a med...I wasn't even on the beta blocker...but I told him...I WOULD NOT go back....but I felt BETTEr when my BP was borderline high...LOL)...but am sure this will all settle down soon...KEEP on KEEPING on Buddy...YOU INSPIRE US ALL...and I don't say that lightly or out of habit!!!! :)

Yeah take care MO. I'm sure the test will just confirm that all is well. just keep doing what you do & building that better you brother.

Nice loss! As I have found out the body changes as you lose weight and exercise more. I'm sure the tests will confirm that it's just the way your body is responding.
