The scale has said 169 for a week straight now. But I know that I'm doing better overall than I was 6 months ago when I weighed in at 193 at the doctor's office at my last visit.
I'm still encouraged by the fact that I am fitting into some pants that I haven't worn in a loooooong time, and even those are a little loose on me!
On Saturday, I was at the mall with my 8-year old (shopping for a dress for her to go to the daddy/daughter dance at school), and I ran into a lady that I have known for years through work, but we mostly interact via e-mail since we work in different buildings. The first thing she said to me was, "When did you lose all this weight?"
Yeah. Made my day....

Well sweetie good for you! Im loving that my clothes fit nicely again and the smaller ones are also beginning to do the same Ive lost at least 4 inches in my waist and hips and my thighs and I can really notice the difference and sounds to me your in the same boat.. Great job.

BTW sweetie how cool going shopping with your daughter, I remember when my daughter use to go to daddy/daughter dance we went shopping for a dress also and she just loved the dance.
Now shes 17, a senior and Im so proud of her, shes is just so beautiful looks like a barbie doll but she just has a huge heart and so loving towards everyone its amazing she doesn't take her looks for granted. Little girls sometimes will come up to her that she looks like barbie and want a hug..its so cute.
I learn from her daily how to be a better person and that she truly is a blessing from God. So thanks for reminding me about the dance it just brings tears of joy to my eyes to remember that time in her life:)

My 8-yr old is my baby. Almost 9. *sniff* I have an almost-27-yr old stepdaughter (my bonus daughter), and a 16-yr old son, 14-yr old daughter and an 11-yr old son, too. Emily and her daddy had a fantastic time at the dance!
