Diario de Ketolou, 24 ene. 22

Well another mini goal achieved. I have now managed to shed 1/4 of my original body weight, it's hard to believe. Still sticking to the low-carb/keto style diet and eating smaller portions. To be honest I don't get hungry eating this way. I just wish I could convince my kids, particularly my two sons, to cut down on softdrinks. They never had softdrinks much growing up but now they are both working they pay homage to Coca Cola everyday. My youngest is overweight and knows that with the physical job he has all he would need to do is cut back on sugars a bit to lose weight, but sugar is convenient and addictive I guess.

What a wonderful achievement! It's hard as a mum when they're older teens/young adults. I think you can just keep showing another option through your own lifestyle choices.

Thanks everyone. I tasked my youngest with dinner tonight, he made burgers but he made sure he bought salad for me because he knew I wouldn't eat the breadroll. I got so busy cleaning up outside today I forgot to eat, however I didn't get hungry, just thirsty.

that's some pretty good news! I wish you luck on your Weight loss journey 🥰 Also, if you want your kids to cut back on sugars... Just try and get them to replace it with something like carbonated water + diet cordial. It helped me get out of my soft drink addiction, and I eventually worked down to only water! Also, if they have addictions to things such as sweets then they can try to replace em with fruits and diet chewing gum/mints.
