I find that exercise makes the difference between being able to lose weight or not. Eating low caloric foods instead of skipping meals is also very important. Also drink lots of water to boost your metabolism. If you're already doing all of this, the easiest option that's left is to exercise, not more intensely, but for a bit longer, unless you handle eating less calories better than exercising (not my case heheh).
